Welcome to Poplar Grove
Located within the National Park Service’s Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor, Poplar Grove is a historic house and museum — once a sweet potato and peanut plantation cultivated by the agricultural skills of the Gullah Geechee people. The manor house, built circa 1850 by enslaved artisans, stands today on the National Register of Historic Places, sustained by the 501(c)(3) Poplar Grove Foundation, Inc.
